Legal Requirements We Adhere To:
• A written towing authorization agreement is required between RFS Towing Services and the property owner or manager.
• Vehicles may only be towed within a 10-mile radius to a licensed storage facility, per California law.
• Signed authorization is required at the time of each tow for vehicles removed from regular stalls or common areas.
• Vehicles parked in posted fire lanes may be towed without a signature but must be photographed clearly showing the violation and signage.

Fire Lane Signage Requirements:
To legally enforce fire lane tows, at least one of the following must be present:
• Properly installed fire lane signs with clear lettering
• Red-painted curbs labeled "No Parking" or "Fire Lane" with lettering at least 6” tall
• Red pavement hash marks with clear "No Parking" or "Fire Lane" labels (6” minimum height)
